ikon is currently developing a core team of people who are committed to the mission of "discovering together what it means to follow Jesus."
Partway through 2009 we began meeting on Sunday mornings at an office complex in Wadsworth (1231 High St.). Our worship gathering is very informal and relaxed, and we'd love to have you join us!
One way our church pursues our mission is through small groups, meeting throughout the week. Please feel free to join in one of our groups. One great way to get started in this is byjoining a starter group and going through an objective overview of the Bible called The Story. This is a great opportunity for anyone who is interested in finding out what the main message of the Bible is, or for those who are familiar with the Bible, but would like to understand its message more completely.
We look forward to welcoming anyone into our community...
...if you have never read the Bible and have plenty of questions about God or spiritual things
...if you are new to the Bible and want to grow in following Jesus
...if you've been a follower of Jesus for a long time, but want to be challenged to grow in new ways
No matter where you are in your spiritual journey, we'd love to have you check out this new church.
We have a "come-as-you-are" culture at ikon - you don't need to dress up or put on a front to come join in with us. We hope you'll find us real, honest, and open - and completely committed to following Jesus together.
