ikon church gathers together each Sunday morning at 1231 High St., Wadsworth (click here for directions).

Along with our worship gathering, we have classes for infants and young children.  Please feel free to join us anytime!

a little bit about who we are...  

ikon is a new community of people committed to following Jesus (a church).  While we're currently a fairly small group, we're continuing to gather people who are on board with our mission:  discovering together what it means to follow Jesus.  To learn a little more about this, click on "about us."

Curious about the name "ikon"? 

ikon means image.

        * Jesus is the image of God 

        * we are being shaped into his image 

        * we were made in the image of God

We believe that God made us in his image, though we've distorted it.  He has a design for us - to represent and reflect him in this world.  He has shown us who he is through Jesus.  As we learn to follow Jesus, we'll become more like him, more like the ikons we were designed to be.
